Price rises
PINNED
We've done a lot of talking, delaying, and number crunching, and unfortunately, we've come to the decision that as of 28/10/23 we're going to have to raise our prices across our site by 10%.
​
This isn't a decision that we've taken lightly or come to easily. Our prices have remained consistent since 2021 and we're one of, if not the best-priced online shops for film photography, and this is what we're known for and why our customers keep returning to us.
We have been absorbing all of the extra costs and price hikes that we've been facing that come with running the business, to keep our prices as low as possible for you, but now has come the time, that unfortunately, we're no longer able to keep absorbing these costs.

We have however tried to keep this price rise as minimal as possible, in the hopes that it doesn't cause too much disruption to our customers.
We do hope that you understand and hope that you'll carry on supporting us in bringing film photography back into the modern day.

Our standard shipping option is changing.
Due to numerous issues with Evri who we use for our standard free shipping option, from 06/03/24, we are changing our courier of choice for free standard shipping to either Yodel or Royal Mail 2nd Class tracked.

Which of these two options that your order is sent with will depend on the weight of your parcel.
​
Our upgraded express shipping options with both FedEx and DPD remain unchanged, but we will also be adding another express option for Royal Mail tracked 24.

Shipping times during our busier periods
During our busier periods (November to January, we're not always able to get orders out on the same working day that the order was placed.
Although we do make every effort to get orders out the same working day when placed before 7 p.m., this isn't always possible as November to January are usually our busiest months, meaning that it can take up to 2 working days to get orders out.
The exception to this is express shipping upgrades which we aim to get out within 1 working day.

New Year, New changes.
As 2023 has come to a close and we've moved over into 2024, we just wanted to let you know that we've got plans and changes in place that will take effect across the year.
These changes include things such as:
A broader range of stock to choose from,
We'll be attending several camera fairs across the year so you can come and see us in person, as well as many more changes that we can't tell you about just yet.
